At the same time, some sources reported that the Brazilian signed a contract for the fight with Chimaev, and Costa indirectly confirmed this information.
Khamzat Chimaev is set to fight his next fight on October 21 at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi, and in addition to Costa, his opponents were expected to be ex-UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, as well as former UFC middleweight title contender Jared Cannonier.
