Reigning WBC heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury is once again interested in a fight with former UFC champion Francis Ngannou, with whom he is ready to face off in a duel under hybrid rules.
“Francis Ngannou, I know you are no longer under contract with the UFC,” Gypsy King said. “If you’re after big guys money, go to Tyson Fury. It’s a big fight for the title of the most dangerous bastard on the planet. We will do it in a cage in four-ounce gloves according to the rules of the Marquis of Queensberry, and we will invite “Iron” Mike Tyson to the role of the referee.
Before facing Francis Ngannou, Tyson Fury will have a unification fight against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, tentatively scheduled for March this year.
As for the former UFC champion, he is rumored to be in talks for a boxing match with Britain’s Derek Chisora, who made an unsuccessful bid to take the championship belt away from Gypsy King last December.
