Chechen fighter Khamzat Chimaev commented on the actions of far-right Danish politician Rasmus Paludan, who publicly burned the Koran in front of the Turkish embassy in Stockholm the day before.

Paludan, who has Swedish citizenship and heads the anti-Islamic Hard Line party, carried out this action with the permission of the authorities of the Swedish capital and in the presence of the police guarding him.

“He is a terrorist for us,” Borz wrote on the social network in Swedish. “I am a Muslim, but I have never been against a foreign religion, and I have never allowed myself to do what he does with a foreign religion. Why are you allowing him to do such things? We must not be silent. You call us brothers, so show us your respect!”

Khamzat Chimaev, representing Sweden, spoke shortly after the leader of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, condemned not only the European politician’s scandalous ploy, but also the silence of Chechens living in Europe.
