Aspen Ladd signs with PFL

All MMA News

A week after being fired from the UFC, 27-year-old Aspen Ladd signed with the PFL to compete in the featherweight division.

Representatives of the organization officially announced the signing of the American.

“I want to thank the league for giving me the opportunity to continue my career in the PFL,” Ladd said in a statement. “I’m excited about the PFL Seasonal format, where you move forward based on your talent and accomplishments. I look forward to testing myself against the best featherweights in the world.”

Two and a half weeks ago, Aspen Ladd failed for the third time in a UFC weight race, causing her bantamweight bout against Sarah McMann to be cancelled. The American moved from Invicta FC to the UFC in 2017 and spent seven fights in the organization, scoring four wins and suffering three losses. Ladd is currently on a two losing streak, losing decisions to Norma Dumont and Raquel Pennington.
