In the next fight, which will take place on November 6 at the CSKA Arena in Moscow, the popular Russian heavyweight Alexander Emelianenko will return to mixed martial arts.

Earlier, Emelianenko announced that Sergey Yerkaev, president of the Arena pop-MMA league, would become his opponent, however, he did not specify when and according to what rules the fight would take place.

Alexander Emelianenko made his last foray into mixed martial arts in November last year, at the AMC Fight Nights 106 tournament in Syktyvkar, losing to the Brazilian Thiago Santos by choke with a hand triangle.

After that, the Russian entered the ring twice, defeating the American Jeff Monson in a bare-knuckle fight, and losing by knockout to his compatriot Vyacheslav Datsik in a boxing match.
