Ngannou responds to Jones’ attack on Adesanya

The current UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, reacted to the statement of a potential opponent, Jon Jones, who after the UFC 276 tournament was marked by another taunt against Israel Adesanya, who owns the middleweight title.

“I watched the fight of Alex Pereira, and I am delighted with him,” the American fighter wrote on social networks. “It looked very simple. It’s hard to believe he wasn’t even ranked before this fight. I can’t imagine what a Frozen fan with painted nails can oppose to a guy like Alex.

“While Jones sits and talks all sorts of nonsense, Izzy defended his title at least five times,” replied the Cameroonian. “Good job Champion! Some say and some do”

Israel Adesanya made his fifth defense of his title last weekend with a unanimous decision over Jared Cannonier, while Alex Pereira, who twice beat the Nigerian in kickboxing in the past, became the number one contender in the middleweight division, knocking out Shawn Strickland in the first round.
