A crowd of thousands of fans gave a hot welcome to Czech light heavyweight Jiri Prochazka, who took the championship belt from Brazilian Glover Teixeira at UFC 275 in Singapore in a bright confrontation.
Prochaska, who became the first Czech fighter to win a UFC title, returned to his home in Brno on Monday and immediately went to meet his many fans.
Forcing Glover Teixeira to submit with 28 seconds left in the final round, 29-year-old Jiri Prochazka extended his winning streak to thirteen victories, three of which he won under the UFC banner.
