Former UFC Featherweight Championship contender Chad Mendes successfully returned to his career after a three-year hiatus by defeating Joshua Alvarez in a fistfight at BKFC: KnuckleMania 2.
Mendez quickly took the initiative in the match and showed a dominant performance, knocking down the opponent in the second, third, and three times in the fourth round. After Alvarez fell for the fifth time, the referee stopped the fight, fixing Mendez’s victory by technical knockout.
